Who are you?
Vicki Tyler, the only woman that would agree to work with Mitch.

When are you on?
While the rest of the world is still sleeping…no cars on the road…only birds lightly chirping…I prepare your daily news and weather.  Paints a pretty picture doesn’t it?

Where did you come from?
I was raised in a town called Dundalk, The highest community in the southern part of the province, at 526 meters (1735 feet) above sea level.  Wow, that’s HIGH!  Dundalk is home of the “square dance weekend” (I don’t know how to square dance) and although Dundalk is smack dab in the middle of cow country, I did not live on a farm, nor do I know how to milk a cow…I swear Dundalk is a real place.

What do you do when you are not at work?
I love to spend time with my husband and our two daughters.  They love to camp, and I’m willing to take one for the team.  I enjoy sleep. I am really big on naps. After I’m rested up I like to down hill ski. Only in the winter, not as easy to go down the hill on grass.  No cross country stuff though, too much work. I can usually be found in a drive thru somewhere when I am not at the studio. I am a big fan of coffee. When the caffeine wears off, I like to recharge with a nap.

I am best known for…
My bubbly over the top personality…coffee helps me with this. …and the time…I did that thing…never mind.

Greatest Rock and Roll Moment(s)?
AC/DC Ball Breaker Tour in T.O.
Seeing April Wine and David Wilcox in Grand Bend, it was a great concert! Actually, I think it may have rained a lot. I don’t really remember. That must mean that I had a great time. What was the question?

Any other useless information you care to share?
I am a huge fan of Austin Powers and James Bond.  What? They’re not real people? That sucks.
Favorite drink- Peach Margaritas
Favorite Classic Rock Bands- The Doors and The Guess Who

Everyone loves Santa…?

We’ve all heard about Santa pictures gone wrong, but here’s one for the books! Jason Lafave, your daughter will be embarrassed for years when she looks back at this photo, but we thank you for bringing a smile to our face this morning!

Please stop watching

Posted on by vicki.tyler

After nine years of Two and a Half Men, it looks like another cast member may be on the way out.  Angus Jones, who plays Jake on the show, posted a video with the Forerunner Christian Church urging people to stop watching the show.  Who knew it would be the youngest cast member to present the voice of reason…maybe Charlie Sheen was onto something?

Let the games begin!

Remember when you were young and the latest board game was the “must have” on your wish list?  Will you be buying a game this Christmas?  Which one?

Billy Ray please go away

Posted on by vicki.tyler

Most “one hit wonders” fade into the sunset…if only we could get Billy Ray Cyrus to do the same.  It was 1992 when he unleashed Achy Breaky Heart on us and now he’s planning to beat us over the head with a revamped version.  He says “It’s rockin’ pretty hard.” I say not possible.

The Wedding Streaker

Posted on by vicki.tyler

I see 2 ways of looking at this situation.

How funny would this be if you were a guest with no attachment to the couple about to be wed? or…How terrible would this be if you were the Bride?

Is there really an appropriate time and place to streak?  I’m going to hazard a guess and say a wedding is probably not that place.

Halloween Visitors

We had some little guys come by this morning to show off their costumes.  Luckily we hadn’t eaten all the candy; we were able to set them up with some good stuff.
