North Bay Summer in the Park Car and Bike Show

The First Car & Bike Show with Summer in the Park is happening August 3^rd and 4^th. This show is a pre-registration show only, with only 200 participants accepted. In order to qualify for the awards, participants must attend the show both days, arriving on festival grounds before 9:45am and departing at 7:00pm. Awards will be handed out on Sunday, August 4^th at 4:00pm. If your vehicle or bike is accepted, you will receive a roll-in competitor’s package in the mail. Morgan Freeman is without a doubt one of the most talented actors out there. He’s stood the test of time and has been doing quite a bit of press lately for his new movie “Now You See Me”. He has a number of other movies in the works as well, so that could explain why he fell asleep in a recent interview. This should give you a chuckle this morning! Let’s be honest, who’s going to call him out? He’s Morgan Freeman!

NU Reads is a free literacy program which is geared toward children aged 4-12 in North Bay. This entire program was created by NipissingUniversity students and will be managed and led by them as well. His song, “Clouds” is Number one on iTunes this week, his video has more than 4 million views on YouTube and this documentary short video proves that this courageous young man will be remembered for a long time.
