CONTEST RULES
"FOX FREE PIZZA ZONE"
1. (a) The FOX Free Pizza Zone begins September 11, 2009 and continues until May 31, 2010 (the “Contest Closing Date”). To qualify, North Bay and Area Elementary School Students are encouraged to complete an act of volunteerism or community service. The supporting teacher will then be required to fill out a Classroom Application and fax it to 476-1240. Classroom Applications are available from each school’s Principle and at Canadian Tire, 890 McKeown.
(b) A random draw, by a Canadian Tire representative, from all completed entry forms received each week during the contest period will be made the following Monday morning at the Canadian Tire store, 890 McKeown. Winners will be announced on 102 FM the FOX. Selected schools will be contacted by telephone at the telephone number indicated on the selected entrant's entry form.
(c) If a selected entrant cannot be reached by the following Wednesday or declines the prize, another entrant will be selected on or before Thursday.
(d) In the event that a selected entrant incorrectly answers the skill testing question, another entrant will be selected on or before Thursday.
(e) Each school will also be eligible for the “Year End Awards”. Awards will be presented in three categories: “Most Original Project”, “Most Community Minded Project” and “Highest Participation Rate”. Winners of these special awards will receive a banner highlighting their achievement, a pizza lunch for their entire school and a $750 cash award. The Year End Awards will be announced in late June.
2. No purchase, expenditure or investment is necessary to enter this contest.
3. Each week during the contest period participants will be eligible to win a pizza party for their entire school, approximate value $500.
4. All prizes must be accepted as awarded. Rogers reserves the right to substitute a prize of at least equal value in the event of the unavailability, for whatever reason, of the advertised prize.
5. In order to win, entrants must first correctly answer, unaided, a time limited, mathematical skill testing question, posed by telephone at a mutually convenient time. Rogers judges' rulings are final and without appeal in all matters related to the promotion and the awarding of prizes.
6. Contestants will be required to return a signed release and acknowledgment form before being declared a winner.
7. By entering this contest, each contestant consents to the use of his/her entry, name, city of residence and/or photograph in any publicity carried out by Rogers and/or its advertising agencies, without further compensation.
